ROGER SIMIAN: This is the original line-up of Dawn Of The Replicants, featuring Grant Pringle & Donald Kyle. As an experiment, before we recorded our second eastwest album, 'WRONG TOWN, WRONG PLANET, THREE HOURS LATE', we demoed all the songs at El Hombre Dottle's studio in Galashiels. I always loved this early psychotic version of 'SCIENCE FICTION FREAK', especially 'cause of the Beefheartian weirdo bit at the end which we ditched on the album version.
